My Story Behind Angel Bug Soap Co.

Wanna know the reason I started Angel Bug Soap Co.?
Well I got the idea for making soap and bath teas (mainly soap) from a dream I had, *sounds crazy but its true!* I woke up that next morning, ended up leaving one of my two jobs (for unrelated reasons, but for the best) and started to dive into the world of homemade soap! Everything I was reading and learning was incredible!
Growing up and living with very sensitive skin sucked when it came to cool soaps, bath bombs and shower things; just for the simple fact that I will more than likely become itchy or my skin will react to the ingredients in the products. Harsh chemicals and perfumes are so combative with your skin that it tends to dry it out anyway, plus strong artificial smells gave me headaches.
As I began my dive into soap, my first few batches didn't turn out that great. I had big expectations and for a beginner; not very easy to execute. For what they were, it was okay but me being me I got really upset and discouraged with the outcome, and to be honest I was going to scrap the whole idea of it. Until a few people told me I was a dumbass for throwing something away and really tried to drive home the point saying " you really got something" so I took a few photos of what I had and posted them on facebook. I said 'If no one likes them at least I have something that wont hurt my skin or make me itchy for once". I had a good amount of people really jump on a few of the soaps and that kinda gave me the little kick I needed, also something to feel good for. I felt like even though it may be small, that I was doing something worthwhile; that maybe someday it'll make a difference.
The Reason Behind The Name
As I'm not quite sure the reason behind the name it self, it was an easy choice for me. Not just because I have it tattooed on my arm in my Grandmothers handwriting, but because it makes me think of her; how good and kind she is, how she's always there for other people and willing to do anything and everything for anyone. She's my favorite human in the world and I cant imagine my life without her. I've been her Angel Bug for as long as I can remember and still to this day she calls me that and tell anyone that will listen; 'my granddaughter, my angel bug'

This is something I will always support. I also struggle with daily myself. After losing my soulmate to suicide I will do everything and anything I can to help ANYONE. I know what it feels like to lose a loved one in that way and I also know what it's like to be on the other end of that. Im so grateful to have the people I have in my life, for the support & love they show is overwhelming sometimes but I don't know what I would do without them.
